How It Started

 

At 24, I moved to Las Vegas to open the original cast of Mamma Mia! The Musical at the Mandalay Bay. Performing for over a million people was an incredible experience, but it was a bad real estate deal that changed the trajectory of my career forever.

After reading Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I decided to buy my first investment property. The agent I worked with gave me terrible advice, pressured me into a bad purchase, and disappeared after closing. I felt taken advantage of, and I vowed that no client of mine would ever feel that way.

I got my real estate license in 2003 and built my business on one principle: I treat my clients' money like it's my own. I tell them the pros and the cons. Sometimes I lose a sale because of my honesty, but I'd rather be honest than have someone feel the way I felt.

Who I Am Today

 

I'm Felipe Crook, a real estate advisor with eXp Realty of Greater Los Angeles. I've been licensed since 2003 and have closed over 415 transactions across multiple market cycles—booms, recessions, a global pandemic, and everything in between.

I specialize in Northeast Los Angeles—Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Atwater Village, Glassell Park, Mount Washington, and Cypress Park. These neighborhoods are where I work, explore, and know block by block. My typical price range is $1M–$3M, and I serve both buyers and sellers with the same level of commitment.

I hold Certified Divorce Specialist and E-Pro certifications and specialize in first-time buyers, luxury homes, relocations, and investment properties.
